Group 1 winner of the Myer Stakes and $1.5 million in prize money. I Am A Star is by Champion stallion I Am Invincible, out of the American-bred mare Star Band. She is a winner of five G2 and three G3 races, as well as placing in a further six Group races, including second in the G1 MRC Thousand Guineas. She was offered by Broadwater Thoroughbreds at the 2015 Inglis Classic Sale, and was purchased by James Harron for $40,000. I Am A Star was trained by Shane Nichols and raced solely by Matthew Sandblom.
