Prague is an acclaimed son of Redoute’s Choice, out of the Pins mare Purely Spectacular. At two, Prague won the Group 3 Canonbury Stakes, the Group 3 Pago Pago Stakes and placed second in the Group 1 Sires’ Produce Stakes. At three, he placed third in the Group 3 Eskimo Prince Stakes, which he followed up with a 1.45l defeat in the Group 1 Newmarket, placing fourth. Running third in the Group 2 Arrowfield Sprint, he was only narrowly beaten by Wild Ruler, then in the Group 1 All Aged Stakes, he was gallantly beaten by 1l by Kolding. He was a $1.6m yearling graduate from our 2019 Magic Millions Gold Coast Yearling Sale draft to Phoenix Thoroughbreds and Aquis Farm. He has now begun his stallion career, standing at Kia Ora Stud, with his first crop of yearlings due to be sold in 2024.
